Holbert Trail Hike – South Mountain Park, Phoenix, AZ

The Holbert Trail is a 2.5-mile trail in Phoenix, AZ. Part of a 51-mile trail system in South Mountain Park.
The hike described here is 3.8 miles long, from Holbert trailhead to Dobbins Lookout and back to the trailhead. It is one of the best Sonoran desert hiking trails in the area and one of our favorite dog-friendly hikes in Phoenix.

  1. So sad that Jaeger was not with you. He was an icon on the trails. I look forward to being able to hike again.
