Chiricahua – One of My Favorite Places in Arizona

Chiricahua National Monument in southern Arizona is one of my favorite places in the state. It offers amazing views, history, and great trails.

I recommend getting an early start. I left Phoenix at 4:30 am and got to the park when they opened at 8:30. The total hike, including some side trips, was about 9 miles.

Thanks for watching!

    1. Arizona Timeless Tourist you should definitely go. It is an amazing place. Fort Bowie is just down the road too. You could visit both in a day (albeit a long day). Thanks for watching!

  2. …I’ve been there twice…whenever I bring up the Chiricahuas people rarely recognize the name..I
like the Portal side just as much as the monument area..
